Hawzah News Agency(Bucharest, Romania) - The Towhid Hosseiniya (a religious center) in the capital of Romania hosted the contest on the anniversary of the foundation of the city’s Holy Quran Assembly.
Iranian ambassador to the European country Hamid Moayyer and an advisor to the Iranian foreign minister Hujjat o al-Islam Haeri Foumani were present at the event.
In a speech, Hujjat al-Islam Foumani hoped that the Holy Quran Assembly will help to promote the Quranic culture, especially among Iranian nationals residing in Romania.
Romania is a country located in Southeastern Europe and is the seventh most populous member state of the European Union. There are some 70,000 Muslims in Romania, making up less than one percent of the country’s total population.
